| Man rapes old woman, eve teaser held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 10: Akhnoor police today arrested a middle-aged man for allegedly raping a 65 year-old woman at village Garkhal in Akhnoor.
Police sources said that an elderly woman of village Garkhal reported to Akhnoor police that she was forcefully raped by a man identified as Raj Singh of her village. Acting on the complaint, police registered a case under FIR 7/15 and arrested him. Police said that further investigation is going on in this connection.
Meanwhile, Gharota police today registered a case of eve teasing and arrested the eve teaser.
Police sources said that a woman of village Agore reported that she was going to the field where she was intercepted by one Ashwani Kumar of same Village who teased her.
Police said that later the compliant was lodged by the victim following which a case has been registered and Ashwani has been arrested. |
