Jammu, Jan 17: The Winter Football Knockout Tournament 2014 organized by DFA Srinagar Kick started at newly laid Synthetic Turf Football Stadium (TRC) Srinagar today with first 4 matches of this 16 Teams Tournament.
The long dream of Footballers of Kashmir & that of JAKFA became a reality as the Game of Football now have its latest and most Scientific Turf to play on. All those players who played on this surface praised J&K Govt & J&K State Sports Council, Srinagar for the facility. In the 1st match, Novelty Football Club Chanpora defeated Chattabal Football Academy by 3:0 goals. Shahid scored 1st & 2nd goal & Shakir scored third goal. While as in 2nd Match, Youth Development Football Academy defeated Biscoe Football Academy by 2 goals to one Goal, Scorer for YDF Academy were Saif & Syed & from Biscoe it was Faizan. While as in third match, Barzula FB Academy defeated Balhama FB Academy by 5 goals to Zero. Scorers for Barzulla were Sajid 1st & 3rd, Irfan 2nd & 5th & Muntazir 4th Goal. In the Last fixture, Kashmir United FB Academy drew against Eidgah FB Academy, with no team scoring any goal. In tie breaker both scored three goals each & in Sudden death Eddgah earned lead. Final score Eddgah 4 goals & K.United only Three. |
