Jammu, Jan17 : Jammu Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL) today organized a Multi-Lingual Natiya Mushaira in the K L Saigal Hall. According to press release, Padamshree Dr Jitendra Udhampuri a prominent Hindi, Dogri, Punjabi poet, Scholar and critic presided whereas Prem Nath Shad a senior Kashmiri Poet, Haroon Rashid Secretary and Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn Additional Secretary of J&K Academy of Art, culture and Languages were also present in the presidium. Delivering his presidential address Dr. Jitendra Udhampuri said that J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages was doing a commendable job and is celebrating every special occasion which marks a sign of brotherhood among the diverse communities of the state. "He also appreciated the efforts of the Academy in promoting Art, Culture and Language of the state and complemented to the participating poets for making this Natiya Mushaira memorable and successful." Earlier welcoming the august gathering Haroon Rashid Secretary said that the object of holding this 'Natiya Mushaira' was to spread the message of Peace, Harmony and Brotherhood and to follow the advises of prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn Additional Secretary presented vote of thanks while Dr Shahnwaz Hussain I/C Editor Gojri conducted the proceedings of the programme. Those who recited in the Mushaira were Sheikh Zahoor, Memood Tahir, Swam Anter Neerav, Sheikh Sajad Poonchi, Parveze Malik, Dr. Liaqat Jafri, Sheikh Khalid Karar, Sham Talib, Ushaq Kishtwari, Amin Banihali, Noor Mohamad Majroh, Ch. Anwar hussain, Mohd. Idrees Shaad, Zahir Banihali, Rehmat Banihali, Gulshan Baderyan, Prem Nath Shad, Dr. Jatinder Udhampuri, Rajpal Singh Mastana, Satish Vimal. |
