Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 19: An Indigo flight from Jammu airport to Delhi on Thursday cancelled due to bad weather but instead of providing accommodation to the passengers, Indigo management reportedly refused to reply any queries and left them unattended.
Some passengers who were scheduled to move from Jammu to Delhi on Indigo flight informed Early Times that the Flight number 6E551 was scheduled to take off from Jammu airport to Delhi on 2:35 PM.
"Due to bad weather, the flight could not take off at scheduled time and the management informed that it will take off at 4:50 PM, but at rescheduled time, it was informed that the flight is cancelled", a passenger said.
Sanjay Attarde of Pune informed Early Times that it was indigestive for the passengers when the Manager of Indigo company Sukhdev Choudhary refused to talk them.
"As per the rules, if some flight get cancelled, it is the responsibility of Air service company to provide accommodation to all the passengers in 3-Star or 4-Star hotels but shockingly Choudhary refused to even talk passengers", Attarde alleged. He further said that it was complete chaos at the Indigo counter and the passengers had been searching for the manager but he had left the office and had gone to office of SP Airport. "The lights were off in the office of SP Airport and even SP refused to talk to passengers.
The manager of Indigo company Sukhdev Choudhary was also present in the office of SP Airport but SP also didn't help the passengers and restrict passengers to talk to Manager Indigo", he said. Criticizing the Air-company, passengers further said that the attitude of Air-service company was totally anti-passengers and action should be taken against them but it was very shocking to find that Police official also collude with him instead of helping passengers, for whom he was posted there.
