KARGIL, Mar 8: Horker Poyen lifted the Soth area Archery Tournament trophy outplaying Horker Apatee C by five points at Archery Stadium Shakmakila Soth, here today.
In this week-long tournament, 36 team from Hundarmna to Sarchey participated. In the final, Commander 121 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier VPS Kaushik was the chief guest while SSP Kargil, Dr Shalindra Mishra was guest of honour.
Among others present were Col Jamwal, Dy Sp Abdul Khaliq, Ishtiyaq Ahmad Kacho, Sarpanches and Panches of Soth region besides the locals.
Meanwhile, the District Police Kargil has decided to hold an Archery camp in summers to train and polish the local marksmen so as to prepare them for the national and international events. This was disclosed by guest of honour, Shailendra Mishra. |
