Reasi, May 7 : The Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Reasi, today organized a Road Safety Awareness Camp at Kamaldanga High School Reasi.
The awareness camp was a part of ongoing drive by the department to educate students on the importance of adhering to traffic discipline.
Speaking on the occasion, ARTO Reasi, Rajesh Gupta emphasized on the need for observance of the Road Safety Awareness and called upon the students to further disseminate the message of road Safety among the peer group and family members. He also stressed on the need for cautious driving in-conformity with the Road Safety Norms and motor vehicle rules.
He added that students have to play a big role to educate the people about the road safety measures. The students were also shown films on Road Safety, especially on the need to observe Traffic Rules to avoid Traffic accidents.
MVD Inspector, Vikas Srivats, Principal and staff of the school and a large number of students were also present on the occasion. |
