| Health Sub Centre in Rajouri locked for months | | Health department critically ill | | Early Times Report Rajouri, May 28: In a crusade against the habitual absenteeism, district administration has placed under suspension three health employees as the health centre was found locked during surprise visit by the in-charge Block Medical Officer (BMO) Kotranka. After several complaints from the inhabitants of Kangota and its adjoining areas in Kotranka tehsil in Rajouri district that the sub health centre at Kangota was locked for the last many months, Dr Azaz Ahmed in-charge BMO, was rushed to Kangota today by the Sub Divisional Magistrate Sukhpal Singh. Kangota is situated in far flung area in the district and the in-charge BMO found the sub centre locked. Inhabitants in the vicinity of sub centre informed the in-charge BMO that the sub centre was locked for the last about three months. Vide his office order NoEst-1/BMO/K/160-165 dt 28/5/2015 BMO in-charge has placed under suspension Kanchan Devi and Shaine Akhter both Female Multipurpose Health Workers (FMPHW) and attached them with Chief Medical Officer (CMO) office till pending inquiry and further duties. He also directed /requested Assistant District Medical Officer (ADMO) ISM Rajouri to take action against Mohd Jameel, Dawasaaz posted at Ayurvedic Dispensary at Kangota and as per people's statement, was on unauthorized absence since a long time. In-charge BMO has informed the SDM and Deputy Commissioner , Rajouri that alternative arrangements will be made within two days to make the health center functional. |
