DDC takes tour of Paristan, Alinbas, hears problems | | | Early Times Report RAMBAN, Jan 21: With a view to redress the problems being faced by the people of far-off areas of Ramban district regarding road connectivity and facility of essential services, to chalk out the strategy for redresal of problems and demands of the area for the convenience of the general public, District Development Commissioner, Ramban Bashir Ahmed Dar visited Paristan, Alinbas areas of Tehsil Ukhral and also conducted public grievances camp at Senabati. DDC was accompanied by the Chief Planing Officer, Ramban Parshotam Kumar, CEO, Ramban, Xen PWD, Xen PMGSY, Xen PDD, Engineers and officers of various departments. Deputations of the adjoining areas also met DDC and communicated various issues and demands including road connectivity, Ambulance for Senabati, shortage of staff in health centres, Power Generator for PHC Ukhral, inclusion of deserving people in ration card priority lists, electrification of uncovered areas, uninterrupted power supply, more rapidly completion of ongoing road, bridges and other construction works, additional bus services for the motor able roads. Responding to the issues put forth by the different people DDC gave necessary instructions to the concerned officers for accelerating the speed of construction works and asked them to submit the DPRs of necessary road projects besides maintenance of roads like Ukhral to Paristan and Ukhral- Alinbas including bridges of the area. DDC also ensured the public a power Generator shortly to be provided to PHC Ukhral. He further assured the people that their genuine demands would be redressed on priority basis. Earlier DDC paid surprise visit at Veterinary First Aid Centre Batroo and PHC Ukhral where he directed the officials to perform their duties with punctuality and regularity without making the general public to suffer. |
