JAMMU, Jan 28 : YCC Baderwah and Evershine XI registered emphatic wins in the 4th Eid Diwali Christmas T20 Cricket Cup for students and youths of the state, and entered in the Semi Finals s which played at Parade Ground , here today. The tournament in which 24 teams are participating is being organized jointly by Jammu and Kashmir Police Department, Simula Sports Club, Atman Sports Club and Christian Sports organization. The organizing Committee included Hilal Rather, Sanjay Mahajan, Rajesh Gill, David Mattoo, Asif Gill, Rajesh Dhar, RP Singh, Sunil Sambyal and Sunny Gill. Batting first, Janipur Cricket XI scored 147 runs in the stipulated 20 overs for the loss of 4 wickets while YCC, in reply achieved the target in 19.2 overs for 8 wickets and won the match by 2 wickets . |
