ABSP organizes programme on 'Freedom of speech & Patriotism' 3/16/2016 10:56:29 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 16: Akhil Bhartiya Sahitya Parishad in collaboration with Rashtriya Kavi Sangam today organized programme on 'Progressive prospects of literature in J&K and Freedom of Speech & Patriotism here at press club. Dr Om Goswami writer of Dogri and journalist presided over the function, MLA Chhamb Dr Krishan Lal was chief guest while Dr Rattan Lal Shant, Dr Arvinder Singh Amm were guest of honour on the occasion. National Executive committee member and Incharge J&K ABSP Arvind Shah welcomed the guest and also spoke about the objectivity of the programme the progressive prospects of literature in Jammu and Kashmir. He drew attention of the guest to the number of organizations working in the field of Dogri,Kashmiri, Hindi literature. They further said that most of the organizations working in the field of Kashmiri literature have come up in Jammu after the displacement of Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir. Each of the organization are doing appreciable work in their fields. The dogri organizations invite Kashmiri scholars and writers to participate in their programmes and so does the kashmiri organizations, but to have an integrated progressive prospect to run deep the integration of Kashmiri and Dogri literature a need is felt to form one organization of Kashmiri and Dogri writers and scholars in addition to the organizations already doing good works in their fields. Prominent cultural activists, poets, critics, novelist, play writes and journalists from all sphere of literature participated in the programme.
