Molestation charges: Court issues summon to SHO 5/17/2016 11:46:00 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 17: It seems the problems for the khaki yet has not been come to an end. In a twist in the case against a Station House Officer (SHO), a local court has issued summons against him and directed him to be present personally in the court. A Special Municipal Mobile Judicial Magistrate 1st class Jammu today issued summons against the SHO for allegedly molesting a 9th class girl in his custody. As per the order in the possession of Early Times, the court has sought his presence on May 30. Pertinently, a minor (victim whose name was withheld) has also approached the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu with a written complaint against the SHO of a city police station alleging molestation by him in the custody. However, when justice was not delivered to the victim she approached the court during proceedings, the court directed the SSP Jammu to hold inquiry and submit the report. The inquiry in turn was handed over to SDPO East who as per sources giving clean chit to the SHO said that the woman was already booked by the concerned SHO on number of cases. However, court has issued summons against the said SHO under section 354-A of RPC. If recalled here the khaki recently has got a blot when SHO Khour, SI Mohammad Iqbal Chagatta along with a lady Special Police Officer (SPO) have been booked last week for allegedly raping a victim in police custody.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
