| Health Deptt employee among two booked in rape cases | | | | Jammu, July 31: Two persons including an employee of Jammu and Kashmir Health department have been booked in rape cases. A written complaint was lodged yesterday by a 35-year-old woman at Police Station Basantgarh in Reasi district that she was allegedly raped by one Mohamed Shafi (55). Police registered a case and dispatched teams to apprehend the accused. Meanwhile, in a separate incident police here today said that a widow lodged a complaint that an employee of Health Deaprtment raped her in Rajouri district. The victim alleged that she was raped by the accused on Friday night following which a case was registered against Azam Hussain Shah of Darhali Morh. Police however, have launched manhunt in both the cases to apprehend the absconders. |
