Sanjay Amar's Goggles of Rajesh Khanna showcases Dogra culture

Jammu, Nov 2: When the whole nation is talking about tension in Jammu and Kashmir after surgical strikes and continuous unrest in Kashmir region, the administration and local people of Bani-Basohli region shot Feature film titled Goggles of Rajesh Khanna in the area sending it a clear message to the world that people of Jammu division are peace loving people and always strive for bringing brotherhood and peace.
Goggles of Rajesh Khanna is a feature film which is showcasing the sweet Dogra culture on the celluloid in a much entertaining manner.
The film is being written and directed by Sanjay Amar who himself belongs from a village named Pallan of tehsil Billawar and he feels that it is unfortunate that whenever there is talk about J&K, it is only about Kashmir and Dogra people are always neglected.
Perhaps very few people in the world know about the existence of Dogra culture and Dogra people. He being a Dogra, took it as his responsibility to bring his culture before world through his cinema and Goggles of Rajesh Khanna is his effort towards his motto.
Shakti Pathak (OSD to DyCM), one of the member of Vishvsthali organization which is actively working to revamp the Basohli arts and culture, inspired Sanjay Amar and his team to shoot his film in Bani area and made other members of organization to work as line producer for the film.
The MLA of Bani, Jeevan Lal came forward to help the film maker with his administration support.
Ajeet Singh (SDM Bani), Surjeet Singh Chauhan, Ganesh Dutt, Moti Ram (Sarpanch), Rajesh Kapoor, Amit Gogna, Suresh Gautam (SHO) are few names who have contributed a lot for the peaceful shoot of the film. Archan Purn Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Sharib Hashmi, Cherry Mardia, Shivang Sehgal, Virender Saxena, Puneet Vashishta, Sadhna Singh are starring in film being produced by Subhash Sehgal who has expressed his thanks for the local administration and people.
Ashraf Shawl and Sanjay Amar are the co-producers while Mohit Garg is the executive producer.
Shivang Sehgal is not only the actor in the film but also is the Production designer of the film while Winit Tikoo is doing music.
Among many local actors few to be named are Janak Khajuria, Sushim Sharma, Lalita Tapsvi, J.R.Sagar, Anil Tikoo, Raj Kumar Bhatt etc. The artists from the Ramleela club Basholi also contributed being actors in the film. One student of Kendriya Vidhaalya, Nagrota named Sativk Garg got introduced as the child artist in the film.
