Jammu, Nov 7: The resident of Apna Vihar area, Jammu on Monday staged protest demonstration against running of industries in residential area in domestic plots by converting into industrial area.
According to press release, owing to converting of residential area into industrial purpose, several problems such as great noise pollution, constant fluctuation and low voltage of power supply and insecurity to the female are being faced by the locals but the administration is seemed least bothered about it. While addressing the public, Madan Dubgotra said that running of Industries in the residential area was illegal and violation of industrial Act. It create worst atmosphere in the locality as well as lot of problems for the people living there and had made the life of every habitant very difficult, as narrated by the people approached the Society. As such SACTWS come forward to extend its support in raising their voice and lodge the grievance with the authorities so these industries be shifted to appropriate alternative place suitable for these industries.
Special Anticrime Team and Welfare Society (SACTWS) came into support and stood with the people of Apna Vihar area, in raising their voice against violation of norms.
The prominent residents of Apna Vihar including Kishori Lal, Rakesh, Pawan Gupta, Sohan lal verma, Narain Dutt, Jogindr Lal, Summan, Nitu, Mona,vijay Sharma M R Gupta and Nikhil and among other were present and spoke on the occasion. |
