Army pays tribute to soldier killed in sniper attack 11/12/2016 12:10:06 AM Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 11: Army on Friday paid tributes to a soldier who officials was killed in sniper fire from across the border in Machil sector of Kupwara in north Kashmir. Hav Satnam Singh sustained gunshot wounds in the attack on Nov 9. He was administered immediate first aid, but succumbed to injuries, said an official. "Homage was paid to the valour and sacrifice of the Late soldier in a solemn ceremony held at Badami Bagh Cantonment," said an army spokesman today.
