Jammu, Nov 14: While the BJP ministers were busy in showing their loyalty before Sangh leadership during tour RSS chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat in Jammu, party workers at Udhampur exposed their misdeeds and misconducts before visiting national joint general secretary, Saudan Singh, who interacted with local level workers to get feed back about performance of party ministers in the coalition.
Credible sources said that during interaction with party workers Saudan Singh, who is especially deputed by the central leadership of the party to review performance of party ministers in the coalition, has asked them to frankly speak about performance of ministers. He said that party was more important than individual.
Credible sources said that workers, in their one to one meeting with the visiting national leader, have reported exposed misdeeds of their ministers. They cautioned that party would be decimated in Jammu if ministers failed to improve their style of functioning. They also pointed out that instead of caring for the workers, ministers are more concerned about power brokers and touts.
Meanwhile according to official handout issued by the party, on the second day of his tour of the state, BJP National Joint General Secretary (Organization) Saudan Singh, along with State President & MLA Sat Sharma, State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria, State Secretary & District Parbhari Anil Parihar, MLAs- R.S. Pathania and Dina Nath Bhagat, chaired a meeting of the Udhampur District BJP. The meeting was convened by District President Rakesh Gupta and attended by District Office Bearers and the District Working Committee members drawn from different parts of the District.
The District President introduced the District Team, Mandal and Morcha Presidents and briefed about the organizational set up at different levels across the district. He also presented details related various activities being undertaken during the last three months in the district. Similar details were also shared by the Mandal and Morcha Presidents.
Saudan Singh, while addressing the meeting, said that BJP is a party with healthy tradition of constituting its organizational units at National, State, District, Mandal and Booth levels besides holding meetings at regular intervals. He said that meeting after some intervals provides an opportunity to interact with each other and get the opportunity to share party's programmes and also seek guidance for effective conduct of every event. He said that the visits of the National leaders at state, district and mandal levels enhance the knowledge of the local activists and acquaint them with accurate information related to party's ideology, principals and the work culture.
