| Burn victim succumbs, another receives injuries | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 14: A burn victim undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu succumbed today while a housewife received critical burn injuries while cooking in Leh.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Sohan Lal (32) son of Tarsem Lal of ward no 2, Simbal camp.
Sources said that the burn victim was admitted in GMC&H Jammu after he sustained burn injuries while a cooking stove busted at his residence.
Later, the body was shifted to the mortuary of the hospital and after legal formalities the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
Meanwhile, 30 year-old woman sustained burn injuries due to cooking stove burst at her residence at Leh. "Injured has been identified as Kamlesh (30) wife of Balbir Kumar of Kathua, police sources said.
Police said that woman sustained burn injuries when she was cooking stove burst at Leh and she sustained 90 percent burn injuries
Police said that both the cases have been registered and further investigation in this connection is on. |
