JAMMU, Dec 5: A political platform in the name and style of 'National Democratic Party' was formed here today during a meeting with an aim and objective to serve public and nation. Speaking in this meeting, Sandeep Turki President of party said, "the agenda of the aforementioned political! party is to promote idea of good Governance, Democratic Governance and Social Justice."
He said that party shall focus on Promoting an Inclusive and Vibrant Civil Society, Supporting poor communities in their engagements on service delivery and social transformation, Focusing an awareness and capacity building at a local government level, to promote corruption free society for the people of nation and state as well.
He said party shall also fight for the eradication of discriminations based on Gender, Sexuality, Religion and Ethnicity.
During the maiden meeting the gathering elected a body to govern the party and elected Sandeep Turki as President, Arun Mahajan as Vice President, Tilak Raj as General Secretary, Vicky Raina as Secretary as Meer Chand as Treasurer |
