6 held for throwing petrol bombs in school in Ganderbal | | | Early Times Report srinagar, Dec 8: Kashmir police on Thursday arrested six people for allegedly throwing petrol bombs in a school in Ganderbal. Following the violence outbreak in July, more than 40 schools were attacked during the last four months in the Valley. Out of these educational institutions, at least 30 schools were believed to be razed to ground so far. Days ago, a government school was gutted in a 'mysterious' fire in the Anantnag district. As per reports, source of the mysterious fire was uncertained. On Tuesday, the state Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti slammed National Conference President Farooq Abdullah on his pledge to support "freedom" movement of Kashmir. She accused him of masterminding criminal activities like pelting stones on vehicles, torching schools and attacking camps of security forces. |
