PCC wins exhibition T20 match

Jammu, Mar 10: Patel Cricket Club registered win against the Police Cricket Eleven in the "Exhibition T20 Cricket Match", played at Parade Cricket Ground here today.
The objective of the exhibition T20 match was to provide a platform for the young cricketers so that they can exhibit their sports talent.
Jung Bahadur Singh, President Patel Club and member JKCA was the Chief Guest whereas Vijay Sharma Secy. Patel Club, SSP RK Bhat and SP Headquarters Jammu were the guests of honour on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Jung Bahadur Singh lavished all praise for the organizing team for conducting the exhibition match on the pattern of IPL at Jammu. Singh also announced that Patel Cricket Club who is an affiliated club of JKCA will organize a mega cricket tournament in the second week of April 2018 at Parade Ground Jammu. In the match Patel Cricket Club defeated Police Eleven by 4 wickets Batting first, Jammu Police eleven scored 136 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 over . Salman was the main scorer who scored 48 runs with 5 four and 3 six, Farooq also made valuable 20 runs and Naresh contributed 19 runs to the total.
From Patel Club Abhishet was the bowler who took 4 wicket, Aquib took 3 wickets , Yogesh took 2 wickets while Nityam took 1 wicket. Patel club led by Sachin Singh achieved the target in the second last ball of the game by losing 6 wickets thus won the match by 4 wickets.Amritpal Singh top scored with 65 runs, Smarpit Raina 24 runs and Rohan Gill 18 runs.
From bowling side Majid was the main bowler for Jammu Police eleven who took 2 wickets while Rajesh Gill, Istiaq and Rakesh Koul took 1 wicket each. Amritpal Singh from Patel Cricket Club was adjudged the man of the match award for his super batting. The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Saleem ur Rehman and Sanju.
