| Deep rooted nexus of attachment of teachers in SED spoils student' career | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Mar 28: The deep rooted nexus of attachment in the School Education Department spoiling career of poor and innocent students of far flung area in the District Udhampur . Beer Singh , a social worker from Chenani alleged that hundreds of teachers/Master mainly the RETs/RRTs/RRT 3rd teachers are being attached in the cities/roadside by the CEO Udhampur J R Bhardwaj . These attachments were made on different titles viz:-' Utilisation of services'/ Need basis/ Deployment/ Deputation / Internal arrang-ement ,etc. The teachers attached mainly are the RET/RRT/ 3rd teachers .These teachers were appointed on the basis of village level merit to serve in his/her village as per the provisions of ReT policy. But the Chief Education Officer Udhampur just for some monetary gains attached hundreds of ReT/RRT/3rd teachers from different zones in the Udhampur town or nearby surroundings the Udhampur town in contravention of RET recruitment policy . The studies of students is affected badly as many schools in the far flung areasof Chenani/ Panchari/ Ghordi zones went under staff. Many Primary/ Middle Schools are being run by single teachers. The Centre/ State Govt. working for the upliftment of poor and weaker sections of society and empowerment of females and launched many Schemes like " Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" scheme. |
