NPP leader seeks CBI probe into Rasana rape and murder case

Hiranagar, Mar 28: Assuring full support to the people of Hiranagar and Rasana village in particular in their pursuit of struggle for justice, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and former Minister vociferously announced that Panthers party shall stand toe to toe and shoulder to shoulder with the people and endorse the public demand for CBI probe into Asifa Bano's rape and murder case.
He was addressing a huge public meeting in village Rasana where he was accorded a rousing reception by the local residents including elders, women and youth. He was also accompanied by Balwant Singh Mankotia State President JKNPP, Yashpal Kundal State President Young Panthers and other leaders.
He asked the State government to hand over the case to the CBI for fair and transparent probe so that the perpetrator of the heinous crime would be apprehended and booked under the law irrespective of any religion, caste and creed.
Prominent who spoke on the occasion included Rajesh Padgotra, Gagan Pratap Singh, Khajoor Singh, Robin Sharma, Balbir Singh, Satish Kumar, Jagdish Raj, Rajeshwar Singh, Mohinder Singh, Vishav Singh, Capt. Narotam Singh besides others.
