Jammu, Mar 28: The Central University of Jammu (CUJ) to hold national conference on "Climate Change Societal Consequences & Mitigation: Future Vision (NCCCSCM-2018) on April 26.
The Conference is being organised by the Department of Environmental Sciences of CUJ.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ashok Aima released the brochure of the national Conference in his office with the Faculty members of the Department of Environmental Sciences on 28 March 2018.
The focus of the national conference is aimed with the motive to address relevant issues related to environmental pollution, disasters, climate, alternative for fossil fuels, new technologies to reduce the resource degradation and other relevant issues. The Thematic Areas of the National Conference will be , Climate change and mitigation a) Himalayan cryosphere and climate change b) Tropical meteorology and Indian weather system c) Air quality monitoring ? Water and waste water chemistry, Geo-hazard and mitigation, Bio-energy and its future scope, Rock Water Interaction.
Young graduates, Researchers, Scientists, Academicians from various science streams, experts from various areas of Environmental Sciences are expected to participate in the forthcoming National Conference organized by Department of Environmental Sciences, Central University of Jammu.
