Teams for Tug-of-War Championship selected

Jammu, Mar 28: The Jammu & Kashmir Tug-Of-War Association under the Presidentship of Hardeep Singh Anand has selected teams to participate in the 30th Senior National and 11th Open Senior National Men and Women Tug-of-War Championship being held from 30th March-2nd April, 2018 at Sports Complex, Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab.
The teams were selected by S.Hardeep Singh Anand-President of the Association, Jodh Singh Isher-Secretary, Jasvir Singh-Joint Secretary J&K Tug Of War Association, under the supervision of J&K Sports Counsil screening committee member comprising of Ravi Kumar-Divisional Sports Officer and various Committee members at Green Field, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The selected players for 30th Senior National underweight category 600 KG include: M/S. Koushal Kumar, Pawan Salaria, Hilal Ahmed, Hilal Parray, Nirmal Singh, Sushant Padha, Surinder Kumar, Ajay, Sabberwal and Haresh Dev Singh..
In the 540 KG include: M/S. Paras Kotwal, Arif Rafiq, Shibum Mehra, Abhishek Raina, Arti Khajuria, Rekha Sharma, Nidhi Khajuria, Nitu Sharma and Kosher Jan. In the 11th Open Senior Men weight category 640 KG include: M/S. Shuvam Bhardwaj, Sourav Kumar, Karan Jot Singh, Mussaraf Hussain, Abhishek, Chander Bushan, Pardeep Singh, Mohd. Hafiz and, Tahir ul Qadri. In the 560 KG men and women includes: M/S. Gulzar Ahmed, Gurpreet Singh, Nitan Kumar, Rakesh Khajuria, Akash Bhardwaj, Kiran, Gurleen Kaur, Nisha Manhas, Anuradha and Mamta Khajuria. Gorav Kumar Dubey, Sourabh Kumar, Radha Bakshi and Jaswinder Singh are accompanying as coaches and Manager's of these teams.
Hardeep Singh Anand, President of the Association distributed Kits among the players before departure which were Sponsored by M/s. Trans Asia Hotels Pvt. Ltd. Unit Cygnett Park Asia, Jammu.
