Now a paper leak scam in JKBOSE

Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 4: At a time when students across the country are infuriated over the paper leak scam in Central Board of School Education (CBSE), the scandal has hit the JKBOSE as well, with the question paper of Physical Education for Higher Secondary part-1, scheduled to be held on Wednesday leaked the night before.
As a result, the JKBOSE cancelled the paper of Physical Education and subjects allied to it including Environmental studies and Computer Science which were to be held simultaneously. While the incident has infuriated the innocent students, the confusion between various agencies engaged in the conduct of exams of the HS-1 has come to the fore as a comedy of errors.
The complete lack of coordination between these agencies can be gauged from the fact that while Chief Education Officer constituted a committee of three Principals of higher secondary schools to probe into the incident, the JKBOSE authorities started their investigations in isolation. While the committee of the Principals issued a circular to all the Principals of the schools where the centres for the conduct of this exam were made, to report along with the sealed question papers before April 6, a similar order issued by the Joint Secretary directed these Principals to report to the JKBOSE along with the sealed packet of question papers.
Astoundingly, while these agencies are grappling to strike coordination within themselves over the serious lapse on their part, questions are being raised at the authorities over their failure to register criminal complaint in the matter. "This calls for registering an FIR to facilitate a criminal probe, but I wonder why no one has lodged a police complaint" said an officer of school Education department hinting at an attempt to shield the black sheep within the department who played with the future of thousands of students.
Meanwhile, in another notification issued by Joint Secretary Examination JKBOSE (JD), all exams of HS-`1 scheduled for Thursday, April 5, 2018 have been cancelled. The new dates for the cancelled exams shall be notified later.
