Bovine smuggling bid foiled 4/16/2018 12:05:32 AM Early Times Report SAMBA, Apr 15: Once again, Ghagwal Police foiled bovine smuggling bid and rescued eleven bovines from the truck at Tapyal under the Jurisdiction of Ghagwal Police station in district samba here today. According to the Police sources, as per reliable sources information received by SHO Ghagwal Amit Singh Andotra against bovine smuggler swung into the action SHO along with team laid a Nakka on Jammu Pathankot National Highway near Tapyal in district samba and intercepted a truck bearing registration No JK02AH- 7486 coming from Kathua side. During checking of the truck police found eleven bovine laden in it and tied with ropes police rescues all the bovines and shifted to safer place and also arrested the driver of the truck namely Ramneek Singh Son of Harneek Singh resident of W No 3 R S pura Jammu. The whole operation conducts under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Anil Magotra and close supervision of DSP headquarter Samba.
