Jammu, Apr 21: A free dental check-up and awareness camp was organized in collaboration with Jammu Indian Dental Association (Central) at Vidya Bharti School Amphalla Jammu.
A team of senior specialist dental surgeons and Para-Medical staff carried out a comprehensive dental check-up on students of various classes.
The camp was initiated with dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental ailments, especially stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases and measures to prevent from them. The surgeons also highlighted about the possible formation of harmful acid which develops when bacteria (plaque) get in contact with sugar in the mouth which ultimately results in tooth decay.
The Principal of Vidya Bharti School Amphalla Jammu Reena Rajput thanked NMO President J & K Dr. Sumeet Sabharwal, Dr. Deepak Kumar State Gen. Secretary NMO, and doctors from Indian Doctors Association Dr. Surinder Gupta Dental surgeon, Dr. Prince, Dr. Aneet, Dr. O.P. Singh and other team members for their selfless service to the school. |
