JKNM holds Symposium

Jammu, May 6: Jammu and Kashmir Nationalist Movement organised Symposium today wherein multiple purpose events were held.
According to press release, the Symposium included Release of a new edition of a book "Tofatul Ahbab" (A Muslim Missionary in medieval Kashmir) written by Dr K N Pandit (Padmashree) which was formally released today on the symposium which was attended by BJP MLCs Surinder Ambardar and GL Raina and former information commissioner B.K Jandyal.
A one day symposium which was well attended by the eminent personalities of the displaced community and various senior intellectuals and Acdamecians of different repute also included a Felicitation of this year's civil services qualifier Rahul Bhat who is ranked in top hundred qualifiers who belongs to a displaced KP community and shared his struggle and zeal to reach to this level despite all odds and attributed his achievement as the collective achievement of the community as whole.
BJP MLC belonging to displaced KP community GL Raina (Ajay Bharti) was also Felicitated on the occasion and He Spoke about the struggle of KP community in these years of exile and yet their zeal for excellence and progress despite all hardships is unmatchable and makes us work in unison for prosperity of our "Bharat Mata" as we have been doing relentlessly and tirellesly and making our nation proud.
MLC Surinder Ambardar also spoke about the present political scenario in state and in country and assured the August gathering that BJP has only one agenda and that is Development of all sections of the society and we as a Team are committed to fullfill the aspirations of displaced community on their terms and conditions as well as already various attempts have been made by central govt headed by Narender Modi to reach out to Pandit Samaj and some more is expected in months to come. Dr K N Pandita presided over the function while B K Jandyal was the chief guest. Suraj Krishan Koul General Secretary JKNM welcomed the guest and also presented the report on the working of the organization.
