PDP-BJP Govt forgets masses, busy in 'Apna Vikas': Congress
6/1/2018 10:46:37 PM
Early Times Report
Vijaypur, June 1: Accusing State Govt of being busy in 'Apna Vikas' former Minister and Jammu Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) General Secretary Manjit Singh today alleged that people across the country especially in Jammu and Kashmir are being ruled by 'incompetent and failed Govt.'
This Government in Jammu and Kashmir instead of redressing public issues has increased their insecurity on border and price rise has snatched daily meal from the plates of the poor people, alleged Manjit Singh, former Minister.
Singh was chairing a meeting of Congress workers at Vijaypur where he listens to their grievances and assured support of the party.
"PDP-BJP Govt has proved itself a failed government. This Government has increased worries in market with price rise where general masses are bearing the brunt. People belonging to poor and middle class find hole in their pockets when they see policies of the Government. Whether it is petrol price, diesel price, ration or other essential commodities everything has gone out of hand from the general masses," alleged Manjit Singh.
He said that when it comes to the border residents, Modi Government and PDP-BJP Govt in Jammu and Kashmir have left them to the mercy of almighty without any concrete policy for their settlement and security.
"They are running the Government without any aim. Their sole aim is to remain in power," he alleged and added that people are suffering due to lack of electricity, Govt ration, and drinking water.
He said that Govt has not compensated the border firing affected people ever since cross border shelling started. They have compromised with stone pelters and failed to deal with Pakistan which has exposed their deeds. Govt's weak policies have come to ends.
