Early times report
Udhampur, June 1: Resentment among common public is growing against the government. Gossips and talks at tea stalls, barber shops, at market, among passengers travelling in buses and mini-buses etc dominate the poor water and power supply in the state.
"Earlier it was not the case as is being witnessed during the last 3-4 years," Radha a housewife from Udhampur town said while talking to her neighbour lady at a vegetable shop. The other lady replied that she was unable to help her children to complete their vacation homework as there is no electricity and the schorching hot climate was unbearable even shame on PDD department which has ignored the minister order not to snap electricity due to hot teamprature above 40 celcious .
Many other women complained that their entire domestic household tasks are badly disturbed due to extremely poor supply of water
Veen Devi (name changed) one time staunch supporter of BJP said that workers of the party are not listened by the ministers of the party and this has led to increase in miseries of the public.
"Why the so called one nation one tax slogan failed here," Bhushan Lal a driver said. He also said that the all time high petrol and diesel prices have badly affected the income of transporters. "Now transporters will be forced to hike passenger fare and a lot of resentment will be faced by us," he maintained.
When contacted a Panthers Party leader said that the government has failed on all fronts. "Where is the CBI probe in Rassana case, where is the equal treatment to all the three regions of the state, where is the regular power and water supply to Jammu region and where are the other election promised done by the BJP," he said adding that BJP has sold out its conscience and interests of Jammu region before PDP.
