| Challan against Gulzar Ahmad Lone in bribery case produced | | |

Jammu, June 1: Vigilance Organization Kashmir presented Charge Sheet (Challan) in terms of Section 173 CRPC before the Court of Special Judge Anti-corruption Srinagar, in Case FIR No. 03/2014 of P/S VOK U/S 5(2) J&K PC Act Svt. 2006 Section 4 (A) P.C (Amendment) Act, 2014, against accused Gulzar Ahmad Lone S/o Ghulam Mohammad Lone R/o Nadihal Bandipora the then Sr. Assistant in the office of Joint Director Animal Husbandry Department Shalteng Srinagar.
The official has demanded and accepted an amount of Rs. 5000/- from one Niyaz Shafi Rather S/o Mohammad Shafi Rather R/o Bonapora Nowgam Srinagar as bribe for release of CDR draft of Rs. 50,000/- which he ( complainant) has deposited as security against the supply of 30 KVA Servo Stabilizers in the laboratory of Animal Husbandry Department at Ranbirbagh Ganderbal. The Charge Sheet (Challan) against the above named public servant was produced before the Court for the commission of offences mentioned above. |
