Akhnoor, June 8: A summer camp organized for the children of Army personnel of Akhnoor military station for eight days concluded today. The aim of the camp was to mould children into more responsible, conscious and motivated citizens of tomorrow, foster spirit of camaraderie and develop flair for outdoor life. A number of exciting activities were conducted for the children of age group between 08 years to 18 years to include Air Pistol Firing, Trap and Skeet Shooting, Trekking, Weapon & Equipment display, Tank ride, Outdoor Sports, Dance, Music, Tree Plantation and visit t historical places around Akhnoor.
Summer Camp got culminated with a vibrant cultural programme presented by the children, wherein they showcased their talent learnt during the camp. Culmination programme was attended by the Chairperson, Family Welfare Organisation, Crossed Swords Division. |
