| NCC cadets carried out swatchta activities in village Akalpur | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 14: NCC (SW) cadets of GGM Science College of 2 J&K Girls Battalion NCC carried out Swachta activities in the adopted village Akalpur under block Marh.
Twenty volunteer and NCC cadets of the college along with NCC Nodal Officer Anjana Sharma flagged off to the village.
Dr. Satinder Singh addressed and motivated the team to keep their spirits and morale high for doing their best for this campaign. The campaign started with the door to door visit and interaction with the villagers. The team interacted with the villagers including women, children specially girls and collected data regarding the health problems, sanitation with special emphasis on the use of toilets, dustbins and other personnel care items. More than hundred villagers along with sarpanch of the village Varinder Singh Ji were gathered in the central point of the village to understand the benefits of being the part of swachhta Abhiyaan.
In the end, a rally was conducted to motivate the villagers to be the part of this internship for the betterment of themselves as well as their families. |
