Jammu, July 9: There is no time well spent than the one spent in shaping the future of your child. Addressing the meeting of the members of JKICS and a group of parents here today, the Chairman, Sodhi said that understanding and handling primary level children can be both challenging and a tough job for the parents, as the little one shape their own way of figuring out things and their behavior can be unpredictable. He said that the parents of especially the school going toddlers need to be well prepared for imparting practical knowledge and ideal experiences to their wards if they want them to grow into happy and wholesome personalities. He further added that the parents are a whole world unto a child, the first connect, mentor, guide and a friend born with the natural gift to heal and feel their needs, pains and the desires instinctively. But, what most of the parents overlook is the fact that as their children are growing up, they will sponge up everything from every bit experience around them.
It is this experience which matters for the kids the most. Sodhi said that it is a prime duty of everyone who is connected with the child, not just the mothers, but whole family, and also the teachers in the school, to make this experience of the child, worthwhile. He suggested some useful ways of creating a worthy learning experience for the children. |
