JKTF demands release salary of SSA, RMSA Teachers'

Poonch, July 9: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers' Forum (JKTF) today urged state government for timely release salaries SSA and RMSA Teachers.
According to press release, a meeting of Central body members of JKTF was held at Poonch under the Chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, State General Secretary of the Forum and the meeting was organized by Ghani Sham Sharma, Yousaf Qazi, Rakesh Kumar and Jagjeet Singh.
A large gathering of about 200 Teachers, Masters witnessed the programme which was organized to discuss in detail the problems being faced by the teaching fraternity in this Distt. In general and issues like salaries of SSA and RMSA teachers, non implementations of 7th pay commission in their favor in particulars. While speaking on the occasion, Ganesh Khajuria expressed sorrow over the plights of teachers & head teachers working under SSA. RMSA who are at the verge of starvation and facing lot of financial problems leading to mental trauma and humiliation for no fault of theirs and warned the govt to desist from such oppressive steps and should come out to resolve the issues at earliest otherwise the JKTF will be compelled to launch decisive and indefinite struggle.
Other speakers also spoke on the occasion and make aware the teachers, about struggle and achievement the forum and assured them to resolve issue and also appealed them to strengthen the forum at grass root level in district poonch, which is the need of hour.
