| Jugal, Kavinder inaugurate additional facilities at Jammu Tawi Railway Station | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 9: The Member Parliament Jammu-Poonch Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma today visited Jammu Tawi Railway Station along with the former Deputy Chief Minister and local legislator, Kavinder Gupta for the inaugural ceremony of additional facilities here in presence of large number of political and social activists.
The parliamentarian dedicated newly installed escalators and elevators in addition to the Wi-Fi connectivity for the guests who visit the state, most of whom come here for religious purposes.
While speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that the railway ministry has included the Jammu Railway Station in its ambitious Rs one lakh crore "Station Redevelopment Project", which is going to be beneficial not only for the locals but will give a beautiful outlook of the Jammu to the visiting guests.
The former DyCM said that the works approved and executed by the Modi led NDA government speaks volumes in itself. He said, the central government has always prioritized the development needs of the state and have provided all the necessary help for the same. |
