| 1,51923 Amarnath pilgrims have darshan so far | | | Srinagar, July 12: The pilgrimage to holy Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas was progressing smoothly as 18442 yatris paid obeisance till Thursday evening. So far 151923 pilgrims had darshan of the self made Ice-Shivlingam since the commencement of the 60-day-long yatris from June 28 from both shortest Baltal and traditional Pahalgam tracks.
A Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Raj Bhawan said here this evening that on the 15th day of the ongoing pilgrimage, Yatra Convoy moved smoothly from Bhagwati Nagar Base Camp Jammu towards the Nunwan and Baltal Base Camps today, carrying 3419 Yatris. Nearly 9480 Yatris proceeded towards the Shrine on both Pahalgam and Baltal routes. |
