| Two killed, one receives burns due to electric shock | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Aug 13: Two persons were killed while one injured due to electric shock at Village Sujwan area of Samba here today. The deceased have been identified as Gurminder Singh Son of Swarn Singh and Bushan Kumar Son of Chandu Ram both resident of village Sujwan Samba and the injured has been identified as Ashwani Kumar son of Som Lal resident of Village Sujwan. According to the police sources, the incident happened today afternoon at around 12 pm at village Sujwan area of Samba, when they went to the fields of one Des Raj for repairing a water pump from the small well. "When they went to the well they received electric shock, resulting their on the spot death while burn injuries to another', said a local.
They were immediately shifted to Emergency Hospital Vijaypur where doctors declared Gurminder Singh and Bushan Kumar as brought dead while injured Ashwani Kumar was under treatment in Vijaypur Hospital. Later, both the bodies were sent to the District Hospital Samba for autopsy and after legal formalities bodies of both the deceased were handover to their legal heirs for their last rites.Police have taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigation. |
