Ramban, Aug 19: Continuing its special drive against the drug abuse launched by Ramban Police. On direction of SSP Ramban Ms.Anita Sharma, a Police Party led by SHO Ramban inspector Vijay Kotwal under supervision of Dy. SP HQ Ramban Asgar Malik & under close supervision of Additional SP Sanjay Parihar laid a naka near Shan Palace, Ramban.
During Checking one suspected person started fleeing from the spot to avoid checking.But the cops chased the suspected person & apprehended him and on search recovered brown sugar weighing about 04gms from his possession. The said person disclosed his identity as Shabir Ahmed S/O Ab. Gani Dar R/O Doru Anantnag at present Kow Bagh Ramban & has taken into custody, in this regard Case FIR NO 125/18 U/S 8/21 of NDPS ACT stand registered against the said accused person at P/S Ramban.Rest investigation taken up.Moreover SSP Ramban is requesting the public in general to strengthened the hands of police , so that the social evils can be eradicated from the society at earliest. |
