8/19/2018 11:34:45 PM
Early Times Report

Kishtwar, Aug 19: District Clerical Association Kishtwar deferred one day Mass casual Leave on 20.8.18. As per the details, a meeting of JKLADCSA District Unit Kishtwar was held today at New DC Office Complex Kishtwar under the chairmanship of Mansoor Ahmed Doolwal, District President. In the meeting a threadbare discussion was held on the issue of recently issued SRO-333 and other related matters. Condemning the Government's step motherly attitude towards the clerical cadre the association in one voice decided to take the fight for its rights to its logical conclusion. During the course of discussion all the members unanimously agreed that in order to make the cadre more strong, the time has come to conduct elections of the JKLADCSA from gross root to state level. The machanism for conducting the elections of All Departments Clerical Staff Association District Kishtwar shall be framed in coming days. Moreover it was also decided that an expansion of the Executive Body of the association shall also be made within a week's time positively so as to expedite the efficiency of work and coordination among the association. Many other related issues were also discussed which include call given by the State Body on 20.08.2018. In this context all the members were of the view that since Government has issued directions for advance Drawal of salary before Eid & Rakshabandan and salary bills have to be presented at the Treasuries by or before 6 pm on 20.08.2018, hence in the larger interest of the employees considering the festive occasion ,the clerical cadre of District Kishtwar shall not go on strike on 20.08.2018. Meanwhile the President showed great resentment against the Jammu based Coordination Committee for not consulting him before giving call of Mass Casual Leave. The President futher added that this type of attitude of leadership is not in interest of the cadre and the cadre will not tolerate such things in future.
