Udhampur, Aug 19: Sanskar Sanskriti Manch' Udhampur district unit was formulated with office bearers as Sudershan Kumar Magotra ex Principal Degree college Udhampur as 'Pardhan', S K Gandotra ex Deputy Director Education department, & Ram Rattan Shrma ex chief education officer 'up-Pardhan', Hans Raj Shastri 'Maha Mantri', Som Raj Sharma ex- Chief Engineer and Vachaspati Shastri as 'Mantri', Mahadeep Singh Jamwal Ex-SSP as 'Seh-Mantri', Professor Sanjiv Shastri, Purshotam Sharma ex-DIG CISF and Rattan c Manotra ex-SSP as 'Parchar Mantri', Som Raj Baru' 'Koshadyaksh' and Doctor Jagdish Prashar as 'Pramarsh-data'. The new office bearers pledge to work dedicatedly for the cause of the 'Sanskar Sanskriti Manch'.
A meeting of intellectuals was convened by Professor Vishav Murti Shastri, ex principal Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Kot Bhalwal Jammu and regional Pardhan 'Sanskar Sanskriti Manch' Jammu along with Bharat Bhushan Shastri ex Principal Degree College and 'Maha Mantri regional Pardhan 'Sanskar Sanskriti Manch' Jammu.
Discussing the degrading morals in the society, to august gathering in the premise of Jagriti Parishram Udhampur, increasing drug menace, increasing trend of misuse of social networking sites, lacking communication within family structure, he pointed out that these all menaces are because of lack of social responsibilities, our distancing from the religious preaching's on humanity and because of increasing voids within the family and society.
He emphasized that there is dire need of propagating Sanskrit that speaks of 'Sanskar' as our religious texts were basically written in Sanskrit language. |
