| JTC for implementation of PM's employment package | | | JAMMU, Aug 23: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K was held under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, President, JTC/SKF (J&K).
While addressing the participants, Shadi Lal Pandita has re-iterated his demand for implementation of Prime Minister's employment package in letter and spirit by filling the remaining posts under this employment package at an earliest for affording employment opportunities to the deserving educated migrant youth. It has also been said that the Government had assured construction of additional 6000 residential flats in different districts of Kashmir Province for providing suitable accommodation to the Migrant employees serving in Kashmir Province. He has reiterated his demand for ensuring necessary steps for starting construction of additional residential quarters. He further said that thought the Govt. of India and State Government has time and again been requested for ensuring cash assistance relief of Rs. 6500 for single soul relief holder family as well as Rs. 13000 for two soul and three soul relief holder family as such families after having attained advanced age.

He stressed that the Government of India should ensure early mitigation of the sufferings of such single soul and two soul, three soul families by ensuring cash assistance of Rs. 6500 for one soul and Rs. 13000 for two, three soul families respectively per month. He further reiterated his demand for advertising 1000 Posts for class-IV for those Migrant youth who could not continue their studies beyond Matriculation due to poverty. |
