Kathua, Aug 24: Barham Kumaris today celebrated Rakshabandhan with the inmates of district Jail Kathua.
On this occasion B.K Veena Incharge Brahma kumaris Kathua and B.K Manu Behan tied Rakhi to all the prisoners and concern staff of the Kathua jail high lighting the objects of this holy festival. B.K Veena Behan in her speech express that the holy rakhi binds the both sisters and brothers to attain the purity and provide the security from the evil forces of five vices. i.e., lust, anger, greed, attachment, ego.
On this occasion Surinder singh deputy superintendent of the Kathua jail and all the participants appreciated and thankful this festival celebration and requested Brahma Kumaris sisters to visit again on such occasion. So that the prisoners which had a good impression of the real words of the sister which lead to change the one's self to be of a good moral character. During this celebration B.K Shallu, B.K Kunti, B.K Sitakant, B.K Suresh and B.K Ravi were also present there. |
