JKHCBA accords welcome to Justice Sindhu Sharma

Jammu, Aug 24: A welcome function was organized by Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu to greeting Justice Sindhu Sharma Judge, High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, who has recently been elevated as a Judge of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Judges who were present in the function were Justice DS Thakur, Justice JR Kotwal, Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Justice Sanjay Kumar Gupta and Justice Sindhu Sharma.
BS Slathia President, Sachin Gupta Vice President, Prem Sadotra General Secretary, Himanshu Sharma Joint Secy honored Justice Sindhu Sharma by presenting bouquets on behalf of the J&K High Court Bar Association as a token of love and affection
President of the Bar Association appreciated the role of Justice Sindhu Sharma, as an Advocate and member of the Bar. He said that Sindhu Sharma is the first lady Judge who has been elevated in the High Court of J&K. He expressed full faith that Sharma shall discharge her duties conscientiously as a Judge of High Court as per the merit of the case and according to Constitution and the law.
While addressing the august gathering the Justice Sharma lauded the role of legal fraternity of J&K as also the role played by the members of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu in extending their sincere cooperation to her. She said I have learned a lot from my seniors, colleagues & friends and I never hesitated from asking any law point from my colleagues during my years of practice as an Advocate. She very candidly expressed her gratitude to the cooperation received by her from members of the Bar Association. Justice Sindhu Sharma expressed that she shall perform the duties of her office with best of her ability, knowledge and judgment without any fear or favour, affection or ill will.
