| Jammu Sanskriti School Organises Capacity Building Programme | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Aug 31: Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua organized two days CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Inclusion and Inclusive strategies under the supervision of Shuchita Gupta, Principal of the School.
About 32 teachers from Jammu and Kathua region participated in this workshop. The training session started with lightning of lamp. Principal Shuchita Gupta welcomed all the delegates for the workshop. Further it continued with fun fulfilled activities in which the participants shared their prior knowledge related to the topic of the workshop.
Resource person Monika Kumari stressed upon one of the most important step towards Inclusion is sensitization of people (the peer group, teachers, parents of the child and parents of other children).
A teacher has a special role to play when trying to maximize the learning potential of students with special needs.
Inclusive practice is an approach to teacher that recognizes the diversity of students, enables all students to access course content, fully participate in learning activities and demonstrate their knowledge. The two days capacity building programme ended with the vote of thanks by host school. Principal Shuchita Gupta and she also honoured resource person by presenting momentos as a token of gratitude to the resource person. |
