JKReTTF Rajouri extends support to State Body's call for chain hunger strike

Rajouri, Sept 9: All J&K Rehber-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) Rajouri unit under the presidentship of Aftab Tantray has decided finalized the schedule for chain hunger strike in favor of their long pending demands.
The decision was taken in a meeting of district body of JKReTTF chaired by its president Aftab Tantray which was also attended by all the zonal presidents.
Participants extended their support to State Body's call for chain hunger strike at district levels and also welcomed the newly inducted office holders at Zonal levels.
After no response from the State Government since a long time on JKReTTF's demands for implementation of 7th pay commission in favour teachers/ masters appointed under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), Teachers Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has begin indefinite chain hunger strike from August 30 at Jammu and Srinagar in support of the teachers/masters appointed under SSA & RMSA.
As per calendar decided for chain hunger strike for district Rajouri all the teachers will assemble at DDC office complex and 20 teachers each from Sunderbani, Peeri & Khawas Education Zones (EZs) will sit on 24 hours hunger strike.
On September 11 same number of teachers from Baljaralan , Lower Hathal and Manjakot EZs shall sit on chain hunger strike while on September 12 the chain hunger strike will be joined by the teachers from Darhal, Nowshera and Dandesar EZs shall join chain hunger strike.
On September 13, teachers from Rajouri, Kalakot and Moghla EZs will sit on chain hunger strike while next day the teachers from Thanamandi, Boongi and Baljaralan EZs will join the chain hunger strike
On September,15 teachers from Kotranka , Peeri ,Darhal ,Doungi and Rajouri EZs along with district officials will sit on chain hunger strike and on Sunday next all the teachers along with district/zonal level officials will sit on chain hunger strike and shall decide further course of action.
