Sat sanctions Rs 13 lakhs for upgradation of lanes at New Plot
9/9/2018 11:23:11 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 9: Former Minister and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma sanctioned an amount of Rupees 13,10,343 for upgradation of lanes in Ward 16 of Assembly segment. Pertinent to mention, a deputation hailing from the area met the BJP MLA concerning fulfillment of their long pending demand for which MLA immediately sanctioned the amount through his CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme in order to provide best possible infra to the masses at their doorsteps.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that when he took over the charge as MLA of Jammu West Assembly segment in 2014, the condition of lanes in the Assembly were not up to the mark and when we look at it today, majority of lanes in the Constituency have been upgraded or constructed so that public can be provided with a good infra and the same has also avoided distress to the masses.
He said people believe in development Mantra of BJP and our hard working Prime Minister Narendra Modi's work system proves that today development has reached to the grass root level which was invisible in previous regimes led by Congress.
He stated that opposition ruled for nearly six decades in the State but could not change the scenario of Jammu and Kashmir in terms of development and the development done in the State after 2014 has shown that BJP is very much concerned about the masses and it will continue working on the agenda of "SABKA SATH SABKA VIKAS".
He also stated that with the efforts of masses and political activists of BJP, Jammu West will soon become the model Constituency of Jammu and Kashmir and he also apprised that the results can be seen through the amount spent particularly in Jammu West which is in the figure of hundreds of crores of Rupees.
He also appealed to the masses to keep their surroundings neat and clean in order to strengthen the vision of "SWACH BHARAT" started by our Prime Minister so that we can all contribute in making our nation "CLEAN and GREEN."
