| Vishwa Bharati carries out action plan for Swachhta Pakhwada | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 17 : Vishwa Bharati Senior Secondary School Akalpur morh, Jammu conducted " Swachhta Pakhwada" from September 1 to 15, 2018.
The programme was initiated under the auspices of " Ministry of Human Resource Development Department of School Education and Literacy". During the programme, various activities related to cleanliness of the environment and its significance in leading a healthy and disease free life were conducted.
The programme commenced with "Swachhta Shapath Samaroh" and followed by the motley of activities such as "Swachhta Awareness", "Green School Drive", "Swachata Participation", "Hand Wash", "Personal Hygiene", "Swachh Water", " Water Harvesting" on successive days.
While conducting these activities, the people dwelling in the adjoining area of the school were also involved under "Community participation day" in which " Sloganeering School March" was held to teach the hygienic manners to the people. On this particular day, some shortcomings related to cleanliness were also noticed and forwarded to the sarpanch of the locality through a letter written by students regarding their redressal.
On the concluding say, " Swachhata School Exhibition" was also organised in which bests out of all were selected and awarded with certificates of appreciation and prizes by the school principal Prof. Annapurna Koul. The whole programme was organised under the proper coordination of Achint Kour, Department of English cum cultural coordinator. |
