Lok Mach Samba protest against district administration

SAMBA, Sept 17: Lok Manch samba stage strong protest demonstration against the District administration samba over the issues of the created new wards of the Municipal committee in samba here today.
The protest held under the leadership of Retired captain Inder Singh President Rajput Sabha Samba. According to the report, a large number of people of different mandies of samba assembled in Veer Bhoomi Park Samba under the banner of Lok Manch Samba and then move towards to DC office Samba in the shape of rally.
They raised slogan and shouting against the district administration samba, they alleged that the municipal committee make new ward and the whole area of the different mandies under municipal limit but they are faces many problems so the few khasra number of Panchayat Kheli Mandi attached with Supwal but the distance of mandi Kheli and Supwal at around seven kilometer and same in mandi Thalora and Mandi Dansal there few khasra number attached with Panchyata Diani.
They also said that the ward wise identification has also not taken per thumb rule and yard sticks measurements as required as an in the year 2005, when there were 13 wards within the municipal area when the total wards have been increased from 13 to 17 there by changing the numbering 1to 13 wards which has caused in justice to the ward No 6,8,9,10,15 and 17. The injustice is not accrued to the above said wards.
Ravinder Singh Lablu a social leader said that the ward no 9 ,10 and 12 where the SC population is above 75 percent and ward No 6, 8,16 and 17 wrongly carved out without adopting without proper measurement yard stick. Such injustice caused specially to patwar Halqa Mandi Pushwalian wherein all the wards of the said Panchayat have been categorized reserved where in the geographically and population of general category is more than 70 percent. Later they called on Deputy Commission, who assured them to take necessary action after taking matte with higher authorities.
