| KC College of Education celebrates Ozone Day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 17: The Environmental Club of KC College of Education in collaboration with NSS wing of the college observed "World Ozone Day" (falling on 16th Sept) in the college premises today. On the occasion, a Poster-Making competition was organized in which a total of 10 students participated. The theme of the competition was "Protection of Ozone Layer" Before the start, the participant were apprised of the guidelines regarding rules and regulations of the event. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sanjay Tickoo, Principal of the college said that such events are important in view of the increasing environmental pollution causing damage to the Ozone layer.
In the event Sahiba Bashir, Lobzang Choskit and Kamini Jamwal clinched first, second and third position respectively. The whole programme was convened by Puja Sharma, In charge Environmental Club. |
